This year’s festival took place from July17-19, 2009. I didn’t get pictures of everyone I saw performing and some shots didn’t turn out at all, but here are a few that did. Mavis Staples and Dan Mangan were a couple performances not pictured here.
The Weakerthans
The Proclaimers, from Scotland, performed on the main stage and in a workshop
Steven Page, who recently set out on his solo career, performed a few of his own tunes and some Barenaked Ladies’ favourites
Dick Gaughan, a Scottish folk singer, performed solo and at a workshop with the Proclaimers
Pacifika is a Vancouver-based world music group with Silvana Kane singing in multiple languages.
